Mr. Anthony James Penna, Jr.

Mitchell, GA – Mr. Anthony James Penna, Jr., age 94, widower of Mrs. Katherine Summo Penna, entered into rest Monday, March 14, 2022, at Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation.

Anthony was born in Lodi, New Jersey, then after retiring from Dover Oil Company, South Toms River, new Jersey. He lived in Warren County for the past 34 years.  He was the son of the late Anthony Penna Sr. and Filomena Caratenuto Penna.  Anthony was a manager of an oil company before retiring and moving to Mitchell, Georgia.  Mr. Penna was an Army Air Corp Veteran.  Anthony was a catholic by faith.  He spent his spare time with working in the yard, tinkering with equipment, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Penna was predeceased by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, and a great-granddaughter, Kori Penna.  Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Penna Sr. (Terry); grandchildren, Jeffrey Penna, Jr. (Kim) and Jason Penna (Kristen); Great-grandchild, Rebecca Lynn Penna; a sister, Teresa Gifford, Spring Hill, Florida.

No visitation or services will be held.
