Norwood, GA - Mrs. Alice Duckworth Wheeler, age 85 beloved wife of the late Mr. Lonnie G. Wheeler, Sr. of Ridge Road died Monday January 16, 2017. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday at the Howell Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Moss officiating. Mrs. Wheeler a native and lifelong resident of Warren County was the daughter of the late Odie Stewart Duckworth and Gassaway B. Duckworth. She was a retired seamstress with Thomson Company and a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Wheeler Rovolis of Richmond Hill, GA, a son, Lonnie G. Wheeler, Jr. of McDonough, GA, three grandchildren, Jeremy Wheeler, Jessica Wheeler, and Teddy Rovolis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
