Warrenton, GA - Mrs. Mary C. Wrenn-Adkins wife to the late William Edward Wrenn and James Wallace Adkins entered into rest Sunday March 17, 2019 at the Thomson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Sallie Hill Cemetery with Dr. Brandon Furr and Pastor Bob Swiger officiating.
Mrs. Adkins a native of Sumter County, GA was the daughter of the late Vera Green Coker and Curtis Cecil Coker. She was a Warren County, GA resident for many years and a member of Harvest Time Christian Church however in later years she attended the First Baptist Church of Warrenton.
Survivors include her daughters; Angelia McElveen of Cleveland, TN, Melissa Purvis of Harlem, GA and Daphne McMunn of Lincolnton, GA, a son, Brent Adkins of Warrenton, GA, sisters; Abbie C. Stephenson of Plains, GA, Carolyn C. Wellons of Bryonville, GA, and Clara C. Abrams of Little Mountain , SC, a brother; Everett Cocker of Albany, GA, a sister in law, Joann Cocker and 10 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and numerous Nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Wood, John Wood, Henry Wood, Spencer Wood, John Thomas Hammond, and John Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon till 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home.
